Post 1: A country I'd like to visit

Hi homies👋😄,

Today I'd like to talk about a country I'd like to visit✌. Honestly, I'm not good at travelling because I tend to miss my home so much; besides, I don't like the trip itself because I get bored and tired. But if I had to choose one, I'd like to visit Japan. As I told you in the introduction, I love anime and videogames a lot, and Japan is the ideal country to travel since is the biggest anime and videogame producer in the world. Also, Japan is very clean and has beautiful japanese gardens that you can visit with your family with amazing old temples related with their religion.

I won't like to stay there living tho, I think I'd stay for a couple of months, but i don't like Japan that much because I don't like their sexist and based-on-looks culture. I like Chile very much even with its bad things.

    1. I have learned a lot of Japan, its history too but i still don't like them as you do since i don't like their sexist and based-on-looks culture (like the thing that happened on a medicine college, where they lowered woman score for them not to enter).

Post 9 : Changes to my study program

Hi hommies, Today’s topic is “changes to my study program”. I like the study program that my career has (Engineering in Renewable Natural Resources),  actually that’s one of the reasons I chose it. I like the signatures it has because includes language, math and science, the basic knowledge. But I have one problem with one signature: English. English in most universities is obligatory but here is optional, and if you want to take it, you must fight against other people to take it, because many people want it and there are only 20 vacancies. My professors are wise but they don’t know how to teach, most of them don’t have a teacher title. I had a professor that was awful at teaching; he didn’t know how to make us pay attention or how to explain some concepts so I ended up hating the signature. The facilities are nice; there are labratories (old but still labs), and nice classrooms. I don’t like the chairs but last year the university changed some old chairs with new ones...

Post 10: Happy new year and merry X-Mas!

Hi hommies, Last post, the final goodbye to this subject! Let's make this post awesome, shall we? I really liked this subject, at school I remember it was really boring because we didn't speak in english, everything was 'spanglish' (english and spanish) so I couldn't practice the idiom. I feel that my english has improved a lot, I hope I do a good oral and written test. I think that the aspect I need to improve the most is vocabulary, I tend to get stuck in words because I don't know how to say them. I plan to improve this speaking with my american friend and talking about no-common topics to search for new words. Outside the English class I don't practice oral English so much, just written on internet, but in the future I want to go to Canada to improve my English and my studies.  I hope that everybody had an amazing semester, I know how hard it is to overcome with all the academic charge and how frustrating is to fail in a signature, but everything...

Post 8: Personal Opinions

Hi hommies, Today the topic is about personal opinions. My teacher wrote about immigrants and I think that is a good topic to talk about since is a national issue that we must solve. My mom told me that she had never seen a black skinned person until she became older. She remembers her father talking about black people when he travelled to Ecuador, but nothing else. Now she sees them every day. According to the news, there has been indeed a raise of immigration in Chile. There are many problems with immigration: jobs (illegal jobs, low wages), lack of a good health system (well, this is for everyone isn’t it?), racism, etc. I always wonder myself
they come here looking for a better life and this is how we treat them? I feel sorry about them. How horrible can life be in their country to give everything for trying luck here in Chile? There are persons who are teachers, doctors, lawyers, and they are in the streets asking for food. I find this a terrible situation. M...
