Post 4: Videogames

Hi homies!

Today I'm going to talk about a topic that was won my heart in many ways: videogames. I have played videogames since I was a little girl. It's important for me to tell you that I learned to read thanks to videogames. I had about 4 years old when I recived my first computer, and it became my first console because I played many videogames on it (after that was Wii, Nintendo DS and Playstation 4. All of these consoles belong to my brother, because 'girls don't play videogames' but I am the one who uses them the most (even my brother says so)).

I like them because they are interactive, you are the one who mold it. You chose when it begins and when it ends.

There are many types of genres: adventure, action, sports, race, puzzle, horror, and a big etc. I don't have any favourite genre. But when I was a teenager I used to play a lot of horror and action videogames because most of them had hidden stories like creepypastas.

The last game I played was Deltarune and it was great! (Sequel of Undertale: a role-playing videogame).

  1. It's so nice that you like video games! Like you, I only have a few consoles like the computer, but other consoles (like Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox, PlayStation) are from my brother.

Post 7: Environmental Conflicts

Hello hommies, Today, this post will be about environmental conflicts. There is so much to explain but I will try to make it short. Today in Chile there's one particular conflict that has become very popular -sadly- because of the amount of pollution: Quintero-Puchuncaví's bay. Right now I'm doing a report of it and the scenario is impressive: first, media exaggerates the physical scenario. There is no oil in the streets or a black giant cloud above the town (not in the day at least). I have been in Las Ventanas twice because I have had to interview people who live there, and the way media shows it makes such an awful impression that the economy of the town has dropped a lot because people don’t want to go there and get sick. Then, there is the government: they don’t offer a proper solution. They gave a solution once: but it only helped industries to contaminate even more. Isn’t that stupid? Inhabitants have normalized the contamination so much that they don...

Post 9 : Changes to my study program

Hi hommies, Today’s topic is “changes to my study program”. I like the study program that my career has (Engineering in Renewable Natural Resources),  actually that’s one of the reasons I chose it. I like the signatures it has because includes language, math and science, the basic knowledge. But I have one problem with one signature: English. English in most universities is obligatory but here is optional, and if you want to take it, you must fight against other people to take it, because many people want it and there are only 20 vacancies. My professors are wise but they don’t know how to teach, most of them don’t have a teacher title. I had a professor that was awful at teaching; he didn’t know how to make us pay attention or how to explain some concepts so I ended up hating the signature. The facilities are nice; there are labratories (old but still labs), and nice classrooms. I don’t like the chairs but last year the university changed some old chairs with new ones...

Post 2 : The best concert I've ever attended

Hello my homies, How are you today? Hope you are having an amazing week as I am. Today I'm going to talk about the best concert I've ever attended. It was on 'Teatro Caupolicán' and it was on 2013. I went to see a japanese J-rock band called 'The Gazette', which is one of my favourite bands.  The atmosphere was  weird because the band is popular for its 'Visual-kei style' which is a fashion caracterized by very extravagant goth-style.  So everyone was using black clothes, weird hair-styles, amazing shoes, etc. And I was there, very 'normal'. The problem: I went WITH MY DAD. It was so funny because in a song the members move their heads like metal-style and the crowd did it too, and my father put the best face ever, like surprised and horrified at the same time (lol). Besides that, the concert was amazing, they played the last album they released on that year so I was amused.
